I’m back! I know it’s been a couple of weeks since my last letter—I took a little vacation to rest, recharge, and soak up some sunshine. But I’ve missed our weekly chats, and I couldn’t wait to sit down and share this edition with you.

While I was away, I kept thinking about the little habits that make the biggest difference in how we feel day to day. So today, we’re talking about small, doable health shifts you can start right now—no overwhelm, no big overhaul, just changes that actually stick.

🏋️‍♀️ Build Muscle, Build Confidence

After 40, we start losing muscle faster, which affects everything from metabolism to balance. Just two short strength sessions a week—think chair squats, wall push-ups, and resistance bands—can help preserve mobility and keep bones strong.
💡 I use a simple set of adjustable dumbbells that take up hardly any space.

🌱 Nourish From the Inside Out

Your diet is the foundation of your health. Focus on three colors on your plate at each meal—greens, reds, and yellows/oranges—plus a solid source of protein like fish, beans, or eggs.
If you find your energy dipping, consider adding omega-3s or a quality multivitamin.

😴 Sleep Like You Mean It

Better sleep = better mood, clearer thinking, and healthier weight. Try winding down 30 minutes before bed: no screens, a warm cup of herbal tea, and a short stretch.
💡 Magnesium glycinate before bed has been a game-changer for me—it helps me sleep more deeply and wake up refreshed.

🚶‍♀️ Move More Without “Exercising”

Not every movement has to be a workout. Add 10-minute walks after meals, take the stairs, stretch while the kettle boils. It all adds up.
If you like a little guidance, “Walk at Home” videos on YouTube are a fun way to sneak in steps without leaving your living room.
